Beth has been teaching Communications at the Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University since 1993. She currently teaches Leadership Communications in the Executive MBA program and serves on the Action Learning Project Faculty. She teaches Career Management Seminars for MBA and Executive MBA-level students and serves as the communications faculty liaison to the Career Planning Center. In this capacity, she works with individual students to help improve resumes and cover letters, and to develop effective interpersonal communication skills.

Prior to joining the Jones School, Beth was Manager of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations for Oceaneering International, Inc., an offshore services company, for eight years. Beth also spent one year serving as Corporate Communications Manager for an independent exploration and production company. She maintains an active consulting practice developing training programs in the areas of marketing communications and U.S. business culture, as well as providing executive coaching in public speaking and interpersonal communications.
