Tracy Volz

Deborah J. Barrett Co-founder and Executive Directory Univeristy Connections Tracy Volz is a senior lecturer in professional communication in the Brown School of Engineering at Rice University. For the past ten years, she supported written, oral, and visual communication instruction as part of the Cain Project in Engineering and Professional Communication at Rice. In addition to working with faculty and students, Dr. Volz has coached executives and conducted communication seminars about oral presentations, interviewing, and technical poster design for the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Volz holds a Ph.D. in English from Rice University and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Iowa.
